Scope of this page

Answers below cover only systems confirmed in the launch build. Anything not yet verified is marked as unknown rather than guessed.

Queen's Domain is a game that explains its world through architecture and its systems through failure. That makes it a game with a lot of questions. This page answers the ones that do not need a full guide, with a clear line between confirmed facts and things the launch build does not tell us.

Release and platforms

When did Queen's Domain come out?

October 30, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2. It is out now, not a future release.

How much does it cost?

$19.99 / €19.49 / £15.99, with a 15% launch-week discount. The US sale price is roughly $16.99 before tax.

Is it on Game Pass or PS Plus?

No. It is a paid release on Steam and consoles.

Is there a demo?

Yes. The demo covers roughly the first hour and ends after the first skeleton boss. It is the opening of the full game, not a separate prologue. The demo walkthrough covers the route.

Does demo progress carry over?

No. The demo save does not import into the full game, and demo achievements are separate.

Length and structure

How long is Queen's Domain?

The developer says 40+ hours. That is a completionist-leaning figure: the island is interconnected, the game gives almost no directions, and the bosses gate progress.

The demo's opening hour had a median completion time of 1 hour 38 minutes, which is a useful signal for the full game's pace.

Is it open world?

It is an interconnected island, not an open-world sandbox. Regions connect through shortcuts and one-way drops, and the Holy Sword opens traversal routes as you upgrade it. The map guide explains the layout.

How many bosses are there?

The game's store page says 100+ enemies, mini-bosses and bosses combined. Three named bosses are confirmed in the launch build: the Black Skeletal Butcher, the Noble Sentinel and The Necronomicon. The boss guide covers those three.

Is there a map screen?

No. The HUD has a compass, not a map. You navigate by landmarks, and the community map page is a substitute for the missing screen.

Combat and builds

Is there a dodge roll?

No. Queen's Domain has no dodge roll and no parry. The dash attack moves toward the crosshair and has no invincibility frames. Positioning and stamina replace the dodge.

Is it a Souls-like?

No, despite the stamina bar. It is a first-person dungeon crawler in the King's Field lineage. The vs King's Field page explains the difference.

Can I respec my stats?

Not confirmed. No respec system has been announced or found in the launch build. Build around weapons rather than a permanent stat lock.

How many weapons are there?

50+ melee weapons and 20+ throwing weapons, per the store page. The weapons guide explains the damage types, and the throwing guide covers the off-hand slot.

What is the Holy Sword Endu?

A legendary sword that lets you glide between platforms. It is permanently bound to a shoulder button, and upgrades extend its flight distance. The Holy Sword guide covers its limits.

Does food permanently raise stats?

The Steam page says eating food increases stats. In the demo, meals behave as temporary buffs. Treat food as a consumable, not a permanent upgrade. The food guide lists the confirmed items.

Saving and death

How do I save?

At crystal monuments. They are rest points, save points and respawn points. The save points guide lists the confirmed locations.

Do enemies respawn?

Yes, after resting or continuing. Bosses you have killed stay dead.

Do I lose items when I die?

You lose consumables you used and any food buff. You do not lose key items or equipment.

Is there fast travel?

No fast-travel system has been confirmed. The island's shortcuts are the travel system.

Multiplayer and endings

Is there co-op or multiplayer?

No. Queen's Domain is single-player only.

How many endings are there?

Not confirmed. The launch build's ending structure has not been documented reliably, and we do not publish guesses. The wiki hub tracks what is known.

Is there New Game Plus?

Not confirmed at launch.

Performance and platforms

Is it Steam Deck Verified?

Yes, confirmed October 29, 2026. The Steam Deck page covers settings and controls.

Does it support controllers?

Yes: full controller support, DualShock and DualSense, and Steam Cloud.

What are the PC requirements?

Minimum: Windows 10, i5 quad-core 2.5 GHz, 4 GB RAM, GTX 760 or RX 560, DirectX 11, 1.5 GB storage. Recommended: i5 3.5 GHz, 6 GB RAM, GTX 1060 or RX 580.

The one question that decides it

Should I buy it?

Buy it if you want a slow, first-person island with no quest markers, stamina-based combat and a flying sword. Skip it if you want fast dodge combat or a clear objective log. The review roundup has the critical verdicts, and the beginner guide is the first hour without the guesswork.
